Now scientists actually believe in it!

I disagree, the only way to accurately simulate the world to
such a level as we see it (unless it was for a very
limited number of users- and that view errs towards
solopism....) would be an immense array of so many variables
that a computer needed to hold it would have to be bigger
than our galaxy at least. That is, unless the real universe
is both much larger in size and has particles smaller than
those in ours...

Whenever me and my dad had this debate he accused me of
being a com puter controlled character intended to dispell
such ideas. Imagine how easy (and little processing time) it
would be for "us" to do it via atext based media :P

H he and when people argue against freewill I dig them in
the arm. They get really pissed off when I say, sorry fate
made me do it.

Fatalism is for the weak, we make our own destiny...

how can you know youve got free will though? maybe you're
controlled and forced to believe youve got control over how
you are and how you act without knowing it.

exercising free will..

they did nothing in this article but explain the theory of
the matrix to people who wouldn't have understood it from
the movie...!

(it's ressembles a bit to the theory with the wired in
serial experiments lain btw... the real world exists in some
way but is controlled by the wired (a bit like the real
world controls internet)...)

preceded it..

matrix is so stupid...
i mean the first part of it is not sooo bad,
but then why did they put so much shity stunts and
impossibles actions in the second part???
finally it makes it a poor poor film roting all the way
down...
yes dark city was better!
:D

I'm saying this not having rread the link yet but - it
scarres me to think that the matrrix could exist, even
though it rreally dosent effect me, coz its not like i know.

Now having rread the link - LOL. i assume its a joke, but
sadly theirr joke conclusion is shit

"While you think you were born in a hospital, you were
actually born in the cold, calculating supercomputer," -

surrely superrcomputerrs arre parrt of ourr mind and not a
rreal thing at all, but something our brrain has invented.

being a com puter controlled character intended to dispell
such ideas. Imagine how easy (and little processing time) it

thats assuming that if we werre generrated in some way that
this otherr beings methods would be the same as ourrs.

I saw the "us" now, but my point is out therre thats all

im sorry for my hate of american movies...the last i saw in
a cinema was evolution, then i decided it was the time to be
clever in my choices...

youre all a bunch of tight-asses...

movies rule, cuz if you have imagination, youll stop to see
the movie-bummers, and instead trying to see the story...

Junktion, i sound like i look forr the bummerrs and i don't.

...well...Matrix did score like the biggest list of
movie-bummers ever.. :)

i like dreaming away in a movie...despite the bummers and
low realism...

dude....whats with the "rr"?

i see all thoses story and understand them before the end of
the movie...thats what make them poor...!
im not talking about the money into them but about their
recuring badness!
:((

offline Anus_Presley on 2002-11-04 07:53 [#00427233]

...but then afterr all the quality of a film depends on
prrefrrence, if effects are what a perrson wants a in a film
and therre arre none it will seem shit to them. each to
theirr own.

Its either that, or just a bug in the M.
