i recommend stockhausen. repetitiveness sucked the moment it became repetitive enough to be called techno. Even BOC is a lot too boring in my opinion. |

yeah, i've listened to some Stockhausen, and listening to things like Kontakt, its pretty amazing, especially when you considering when and how it was made. But can you class it as music? I think it can only be seen as art in an audio form. I dislike repetitive music, but something like that just goes to the other extreme. A lot of the music like say Squarepusher (though i'm not calling him 'techno') bridges the gap between art and music, with its amazing complexity but also beautiful melodies that seem to emerge after persistant listening as for BOC, I like them, but a bit overhyped in my opinion |

And no techno is not "wank" you just don't understand the genre. Sounds to me like your only hearing one kind of it. |
