This is very important, because imagine if shit was NOT techno... this would mean that shit would have to be some other word, such as boot.... but THEN... what would boot be??? etc etc... as you can see, every single word in existence might just shift to another word (uless techno is shit, shit is boot, and boot is techno... then it's just a 3 way swap and all the other words will stay the same) |

I love what Jeff Mills does, I love Novamute compilations, Luke Slater Kicks ass, Adam X is great... But that doesn't mean braindance stuff is NOT great! Why limit yourself to one sort of shit? |

Maybe I haven't been exposed to enough of it (i've heard my fare share) but I tend to agree with pennyworth. Do the artists think they can get away with doing the exact same drum-bass loop for ever song? its always "oom-tss-oom-tss-oom-tss-oom-tss-oom-tss-oom-tss-oom-tss-oom oom-tss" and repeat again. I hate all forms of repetetive music, its just who I am. gets too boring too fast. |

I think that Surfing on Sinewaves is incredible. Gets better with every listen. But to be honest most other techno is shit. I also do like Lory D and Vulva too though. And a wee bit of Passarani. |
