It's not out yet. Will be in September or something, double
CD, the first one studio stuff (the untitled track off that
EP, some more unpublished stuff plus a Joy Division Cover
plus some foller) the second one live, but keep your pants
on, it's quite a disappointment (the live disc that is). The
title will be "Do you know Squarepusher?"

I believe I'm still required to get it.

Thanks for the info.

Oh, yeah, you're obliged to get it. It's by squarepusher
innit? Who cares if it is any good eh?

There is no new stuff: he's basically playing "Go Plastic"
from his harddrive adding just little, almost unimportant
touches to it. Now, I really love "Go Plastic", but the
recording is just bad enough so you lose sight of all the
little details that make that music that great. The good
side is that you hear the crowd going apeshit but it doesn't
have the lasting power IMO. Tom just shouts "Make some
fucking noise!!!" from time to time... I dunno, if they will
be selling it for the price of one CD, then I guess, it'll
be OK....

maybe, just maybe....it'll be dvd format with live footage?
That would make it really worth it........
.........right now i'm really getting into his Vic Acid ep
(vinyl, oh yes)...only got it last month. but its '97 i
think....its like new stuff to me "the fat controller" remix
is IMCREDIBLE...the vocally-synth melody at the end is
UNREAL

Ahh, the good ole days... I dunno, I don't think DVD's in
the pipeline tho.

...don't you think people who bought wap155 'untitled' have
been cheated?

squarepusher"

i think they should have sold it like a single then... it
was more expensive, wasn't it?

Only £4 and I would have got it on vinyl anyways to DJ.

I can kinda see your point but I wont think many will mind.

I don't really like it...on cd1 there's 2 good tracks IMO
and on cd2......its not very exciting, good quality or new.
However, i'm not totally 100% sure that'll be what the
release is like

i like it myself.. the live disk that is.

if for nothing else, hearing the crowds reaction to toms
programming trickery. the crowd is REALLY into it.

there is minimal skew from the original tracks, so yeah..
that is kinda dissapointing.

Disk one is ok. lost of filler... 2, maybe 3 songs worthy of
mention. If you liked Go!Plastic then I'm betting you'll dig
it.
