Anyone like this movie? I personally thought it was a good
movie that took an incredible amount of balls to make.. with
very fantastic characters and stuff, just fuckin cool.

high.

it was weird...

like now, when i watch like fear and loathing, i know whats
happening... it makes sense

but this seemed like it wasnt a movie

i couldnt peice together how the scenes related, or what the
plot was or anything

it was weird

i also went to the pizza place across the street, and burst
out laughing at the arcade game, because for a min i thought
i was in it

and when we were walking there... (across the street) i ask
once we cross the road "fuck! where are we goin... weve been
walking forever"

i smoked ALOT my first time

:)

although i was totally baked the first time... i liked the
second time better... i sat around and listened to IDM. it
was so awesome. (didnt listen to any music the first time)
then i watched fear and loathing

then me and my band did a 10 min freestyle
beatboxing/sing/whatever session... but my friend was too
stoned to remember to hit record.... so its lots in time

those are the only 2 times ive ever been high

Fear and Loathing is a great movie. It is hilarious.

The book is even better. Read the book Zeus. I will stab
your eye if you don't.

Fear and Loathing in Vegas was so fucking hilarious! It was
directed by Terry Gilliam (sp?) which is one of the dudes
from Monty Python. The beginning is really hilarious but it
gets more serious and crazy as time goes on. Moral of the
story: Do drugs, but dont do as much drugs as these guys
did.

excellent movie, but i wonder if it would still be as good
with other actors.
i mean just the thought of seeing depp and del toro
performing together made me love this movie.

Aren't they doing a follow up? Based on Thompson's life?
Depp is starring again obviously

offline pOgO from behind your belly button fluff on 2002-08-04 11:33 [#00336168]

Depp just look soooooo wierd in that film, I didn't know it
was him untill someone told me.

Thompson's a bit of a nutcase isn't he ? And did Dom Jolly
get hime once?

depp looked different, but i guess you could recognise him
by the tone of his voice, and the way he expresses
or that's just me because im a big fan of his
hehe

As far as a follow up goes, I have no idea. But there was a
movie that preceeded F&L. I believe it was called "where
the buffaloes roam," and starred bill murray as hunter h.
thompson. In my opinion bill murray makes a much better
thompson. Anyways if you like Fear and Loathing check out
all his other books, most of them are just as good if not
better.

ONE - fear an loathing is the best possible film that COULD
HAVE been made of one of the best books of all time... but
of course the book is better...

TWO - laffs while new at being mashed? check this - i'd not
long started smoking the leaf, swallowed a nugget of solid,
thought it 'might do something'... but no. forgot about it.
three hours later i collapse into a pyramid of baked bean
tins in the local supermarket...
is good! heh. ;-)

i'm sorry to say that this is one of the most retarded
things i have ever read on this messageboard. Makes me
wonder if you actually watched it, or had it playing in the
background while you were listening to your will smith cd.

But you could've been joking of course. I hope u were.
