seriously, I do... it makes me so unhappy... I would quit, but I need to pay, or at least try to pay for my tuition and it's August now, too late to look for another job... and plus, I want to have money next semester at school, so I'll have to keep it then... I'm stuck, and this is the worst job in world... it has to be... every day I work I'm in such a bad mood... and half the people I work with are assholes, and stuck up snobs... Ophecks, I remember you asked me one time what my job was like, hours and stuff... well, here is my advice, no matter how bad your job might be, I doubt it's as bad as mine... STAY AWAY FROM FAST FOOD!!! I have to work 8 hours tomorrow, and for the first 4 hours I'll be cleaning up after stupid customers, and then the last 4 hours I'll be SERVING stupid customers... bah, life sucks so much ass sometimes!! |

That sucks, man... I'm starting to like my job, there's lots of downtime which was boring at first, but really, there's a lot of freetime to joke around and my coworkers are turning out to be pretty cool people. I'm much happier with my job now. It's pretty sweet, actually, a PERFECT summer job come to think about it... fuck, we spent like an hour while the boss was away playing Contra 3 on the computer. OK, enough bragging... :-p. I would HATE to work at a fast food place... and it IS so fucking hard to find a job, especially the Maritimes, eh? I lucked out with this one. Tough it out... work can be a life sucker, it was for me for a bit... it's such an awful feeling to be a little hampster in a 9 to 5 job, but that's why you work... to get cash to get an education to get a GOOD job. Hang in there. And murder your boss. |

i haven't done fast food just cos of all the bad things i've heard of it. i am sorry u are unhappy with your job, funk =(. i recommend getting a physical, outdoors job like me! u'd prolly feel a lot healthier! =) |

I didn't know monkey's worked... ;) but seriously, it's not even the fast food thing really... I was happy (fairly happy) at Burger King, but now it just sucks... I think it's the people I work with, and other things, but mostly that... they just get on my nerves sometimes, well a lot of the time... |

a friend of mine had a job for a pizza place doin pizza delivery, and he got paid under the table, wasn't even a "real" employee. I figure that'd be cool cuz u wouldnt have to pay any taxes... but then his gay manager fired him and gave my friend's position to his gay boyfriend =(. strange how things work out sometimes... (btw, this is a true story, not poking fun at homosexuals.) |

hey Funky...sorry if your job sucks... but thats life, bummer isn't it... get a job in a REAL restaurant next time, (a busy restaurant i.e. with well tipped waitstaff and bartenders)... if you are a cook, it will still suck, but you will meet a lot more interesting and wide range of people (and girls too)... the food will be better, and if you find a good place, lots of parties after hours, wild stuff going on while you work... free stuff given to you... don't waste your youth at such a crappy place... you can have a bad job with more interesting people... |

if you're working drive through, at least you have the opportunity to mess with people's heads to pass the time.. i seem to remember getting fired for saying "smoke dope" after every sentence to drive thru customers for about an hour and a half as a sort of subliminal message. good thing i was fuckin quiting anyway |
