DBZ is ok.... the animation is a little dated by todays standards, although that never bothered me... its just that the structure of every single episode seems the same to me, and I've seen quite a bit of them. There is always one giant battle going down, and half the show is just the two sides trash talking one another and not even actually fighting, then they fight a little bit and resume trash talking, it just gets boring IMO. now Dragonball on the other hand is a good show, its very funny (IMO) and is a lot more entertaining. have you seen Cowboy Bebop? that is a very cool show. I can recommend some good movies/shoes if anyone is interested. |

you should see akira, thats cool. I liked cowboy bebop, i heard there's a game of it on the ps1.. Yeah, i like dragonball even better then Dragonball Z or -GT. It's so much fun seeing goku and krillin growing up haha |

I have a wide collection of Manga/anime on Video, VCD, and DVD (I even have some hentai o.o). I started collecting it in 1991 when Akira came out on Island World Videos before thay had the 'Manga' label. I don't go for all of it now but a few things pop up that I like and I still like a few classics. |

Neon Genisis Evangelion is a good mech war anime..... probubly the best anime ever made.... but you gotta see the final movie to see the real ending... the ending to the tv series leaves ya hanging |

On the other hand, I really like: Perfect Blue Ghost in the Shell Akira Cowboy Bebop Serial Experiments: Lain A Wind Named Amnesia Ninja Scroll The Wings of Honneamise Grave of the Fireflies Princess Mononoke Doomed Megalopolis (even though the dubbing and dialog is shit) There is probably more than that, but it's all I can think of off the top of my head. |

I'm waiting for 'Spirited Away.' The next movie by the guy that did Princess Mononoke. If your looking for some anime, try Neon Geneisis Evangelion. They have a box set released and a new DVD, which has half of the ending released for your viewing pleasure. |

I thought Perfect Blue sucked ass, It was like people where getting letter bombs and writing every move she made on a web site, did she phone the police? No. That whole Manga was lame and I regret ever getting the DVD. I'm sure people only think it's great for the sex. It's very rare I'm this harsh on a manga but I just can't see what was supposed to be so good about it.. :/ |
