It's great having all these new games and discovering
classic games like rick dangerous etc. some of the discs are
mis-labelled so you never know what you're going to get when
you load it up :)

way around....
the thing is that loads of the games have MODs as there game
music :D and i was hoping to have a listen to a few!!!

SpeedBall 2 is pretty good on the Amiga :D

I found i had Stunt Car Racer...

Check out "it came from the desert" that was a cool game!! i
love when you'd get injured and you'd wake up in hospital..
and then you make a break for it in a wheelchair!!! CLASSIC!

I think I have that, but it says it needs to be "disk
doctored" where is disk doctor? Is it part of workbench?

I remember trying to explain MODs to my Music teacher when i
was in the 8th grade...and saying that they were better than
Midi hehehehe :)

I was playing "unreal" (not the FPS ;) ) on my amiga last
night. Very good game (technically at least) for the time.

I've found I have a boxed copy of speedball 2 with the
manuals all in mint condition. To my annoyance, whilst I
have the box and manual to alien breed, the disk is missing
:( I really liked that game when I played it on the pc...

Like you, I tend not to use my PC for games much anymore. I
think it's because I'm in front of a PC all day at work, I
don't find it very relaxing doing it at home as well.

I'm glad I have my amiga & GBA to play games on :)

Last night I was alternating between making music & playing
amiga games. Whenever I got stuck with the music I just had
a quick go on stunt car racer.

I've realised that my 4 channel micromixer will allow me to
sample from my amiga to my PC admittedley in mono-but both
L&R channels will be recorded rather than just one. Time to
get sampling the "Sayit" program I think :)

Does anyone know of a utility for the PC that will allow you
to format floppy disks so that they can be used on the
amiga?

I want to make use of all those old PC floppies I have lying
around...

Sampling a BBC Micro is cool too. You can have it lighting
up a keyboard on the monitor while pumping out square wave
loops and stuff. Run those thru filters alternating left and
right and you can really mess with peoples heads.

"SpeedBall 2 is pretty good on the Amiga :D "

I was playing Speedball 2 at the weekend on the Megadrive.
It's a shame that the megadrive version never got the same
degree of recognition- personally I think it isn't that far
off the Amiga version.

"I never understood what the point in a second drive (I know

you can have one) was?"

Following evenings spent playing shadow of the beast and
switching the 2 disks 5 times every time you die (surely
they could of programmed it better than this?), I retract
this comment fully! I definately want to get a second floppy
disk drive for it :)

That just sounds bloody funny. A squirrel interface. Do you
insert stuff in the squirrel and depending on how it's
grooved it makes different scratch patterns and loads the
program.

I'd played the first game on the PC a bit and wasn't too

full of octamed mods ripped from various games, demos, etc.
I've been transfering everythng over to use on winuae
emulator. i'd forgotten how addictive james pond 2 and
prince of persia were :)
anyone got a working asf of turrican 2? mine crashes winuae
