- First of all; this is not a lame topic and it dosnt deserve closing. I simply want to know peoples oppinion on the frequent closing of topics lately. - So ya'll. Do you think the moderators of afx.nu are a bit to quick on the "close topic"-trigger? or do they make fair decisions? |

it's biased, mainly this board is composed of rubbish topics and that is all there is to talk about. So it is totally up to the moderators to think, oh, well this off topic subject doesn't belong, but the next one does... Honestly if they followed strict guidelines on closing topics about 99% of them would be closed right now. |

well my two cents........*clink clink* this is phobia's MB and his decisions whether we agree or not are HIS. if it makes people think twice about posting because they think their topic may be closed GOOD. then that means that even they think the TOPIC is not good..... i for one don't like reading .... - i'm bored topics..... - anything related to the weather (hehehe) - etc.... i think we should all think twice about what we post. this may NOT be the right forum. it's not a chatroom....and slsk is....so go there. also.....since there is such a diverse age range....it's good not to have too many topics that may be OFF limits for some (again there are OTHER forums for that) ! basically use good judgement... =0) i'm glad i don't have to make THE decisions about what topics to close, but arguing about it with the person that closed it, is of NO value. just move on and talk about something else. if you wanna make your own MB....then you can make your own rules. *nuff said* WHEW.......=0) |
