Probably Homogenic, but Selmasongs is a
very close second. Great movie, too.

vespertine ... i've been listening to it so much lately.
i'm in love with what was done with the vocals on undo.

debut because it reminds me of this wonderful girl i hung
out with the summer after high school graduation. it's one
of those albums that i pull out every so often -- actually,
i've cried to venus as a boy. that's the song i cried to
that i couldn't remember from the other post ("crying to
music" or something ...)

Somehow I feel that when we in 20 years or so look back on
the 90s, Björk will be seen as the brightest star of the
decade. Although I dont feel that way now, but her music
encapsulates most what came to be unique about the 90s, the
cross-over, the postmodern way of bringint bits and pieces
from styles and musical eras together with the help of
sampling and the integration of music and video. Plus the
everlasting fascination in pop culture for the islands
Iceland and Japan.

I have Debut, Venus as a Boy, Post, Homogenic, All is Full
of Love, Vespertine, Greatest Hits, and some live stuff.

I think that Homogenic is my favorite... its right up my
alley; its so beautiful. My favorite song, however, if I had
to choose one (1) and only one (1) by Bjork would be Pagan
Poetry, on Vespertine. Mmm yes.

Theres a track with both of them on it? 0_o' Im a hardcore
Tori fan, and I have no idea what youre talking about. Ive
heard Tori do her song "Butterly" and break into a bit of a
cover of Hyperballad (I have that) and that was labeled as
Tori and Bjork together. Buts its not. Hmm! Fill me in, yo!
:)

i'd like to hear that actually. perhaps you can give me more
info on that, like which concert it was performed at so i
can find it for download.

tori's "bachelorette" b-side on the spark single is not a
bjork cover as some might suspect from the title. the two
performers have never done a song together, live or on
record. i've never heard bjork mention tori either.

bjork is the most consistently great artist still around.
each album is a classic in its own right.

saying it right :)

This is from HereinmyHead.com ... "Tori has performed snippets
of Björk's, Hyper-Ballad and BT's Blue Skies, as an
introduction and/or bridge to Butterfly during several live
concert performances, including during the Dew Drop Inn Tour
in Los Angeles, CA, June 28, 1996; in Portland, OR on July
21, 1996; in Roanoke, VA on October 11, 1996; and in
Melbourne, FL on October 18, 1996."

There you go--thats all of the information I could find. :)

I LOVE Toris Bachelorette--its sexy as hell! :) Bjork and
Toris are both good... they cant be compared except for the
name of the song, so I cant say which one I like better!
