What do you know about this artist/artists I would do a
search but I think that I would have to wade through loads
of crap to find it.

i just heard it for the first time today, their new album is
pretty good and consistent.

they owe texture of beats heavily to Ae
they owe melodies to BOC
they owe vocals to Bjork

(whilst making it their own)
that shud give u some idea of what to expect

mum are an Icelandic four piece, Bjork based Vespertine on
their live shows that they did in and around Reykjavik (see
NME) They play with laptops, Melodica and a rhodes piano
with bits of spoken word from books, the two girls in the
group are hot! they are twins, one of them was on the cover
of Belle & Sebastians album from a while ago...the new album
had a lot of help from Valgeir-- www.greenhouse.is who
worked on the 'dancer in the dark' soundtrack and
'Vespertine'.....that's all I know!

i find them a great band- i havent heard everything they ve
made but what i ve heard was extremely fragile and
beautiful- they have 2 albums i think and one with the mixes
of their stuff.
