What do you think is better music?
The stuff they played before Kid A?
Or Kid A and Amnesiac?
I think I'll go for the earlier tunes... especially the
bends and ok computer...
I very much enjoy Kid A/Amnesiac tho...
Radiohead is just a great, especially live. WOW they were so
amazing at pinkpop...!

i saw a video of glastonbury '97 today and radiohead were
live playing 'paranoid android'. they look really good live
- really together and everything. then i saw kula shaker.
hahaha.

the bends/ ok computer stuff is best imo because it's more
accessible guitar based music. 'just' is a brilliant rock
song.
'planet telex' is great as well.

Paranoid Android
Fake Plastic Trees
Creep
Street Spirit
Karma Police
You and who's army?
idioteque

I kinda have the feeling that their own track (track 7 on ok
computer: fitter happier) inspired them a bit to start
experimenting with electronic music

hmm i haven't got ok computer, only the bends...apparantly,
thom yorke was inspired by warp and bought 'the entire warp
back catalogue'. i think he named Autechre's LP5 as one of
his main influences.
he likes skam as well.

Radiohead stuff always reminds me of where I first heard it.
No other band do that for me.

ie Karma Police - Riding in a taxi in Tenerife
Pyramid Song - In the bath in Crewe/England

when i was at "Media Markt" in october 2000 i saw "kid a"
and i liked the cover and so i tried to listen. i was such
as fascinated about "kid a" that i had to buy it! this was
my first album by radiohead!

jamiroquai is fun. I have synkronized. But they start to
bore me after 5 tracks...

I prefer the OK Computer era... not as electronic, but still
something more than just mere ''rock''. That album is
perfect...

Kid A is pretty amazing too, though... Amnesiac isn't quite
as good. Well, it's great that they're expanding their
range, but I doubt they'll ever top OKCPU.

it's close here, the sun's going down and I'm listening to
Geeez'n'Gosh.

I've got
My Iron Lung EP
OK Computer
Kid A
Amnesiac (Special Edition)
Pyramid Song German CD
Pyramid Song UK CD1
Knives Out German CD

Still haven't got round to buying the Bends but I've heard
it at least about 30 times as a friend of mine has it. Their
best album IMO.

yeah, i've forgotten: i've knives out too!
it's hard to say if ok computer or kid a is better, they are
both good in a kind of way! i don't think that jamiroquai
are boring! the concert was great! i was there with a friend
and it was really good!

The first time I heard Pyramid Song was at the Rock im Park
festival last year. The showed the excellent video for it
between bands and by the time Radiohead took the stage I
knew the song off-by-heart which was great.

I totally have to agree with you on this. Kid A and Amnesiac
are great...I love Amnesiac better or more then Kid A but
compared to Ok computer and the Bends, Those are two better
albums..

Live Recordings is also great!!! Hearing them live and the
way they put everything together is fucking great.

Radiohead doesn't make too many bad songs, but Pablo Honey
was just generic crap that I'll never put on, and ONE song
ruins OK Computer's perfection for me... Electioneering...
can NOT stand it.

Its been rainy and muggy here all week, pretty gross but
then I've been catching up with my albums so I dont mind
much....ohhhh wait dont get me wrong I love Ok computer I
think it kicks ass, I love the bends..but Amnesiac and Kid A
jsut do it for me more then those other albums...I love
Radiohead,, next to Aphex Twin their my favorite!

* I have to many favorites*

I hated Electioneering for ages as well and I still think it
ruins the album as a whole but if you spend time listening
to it you'll realize it's a great track too, just sounds a
bit like the Levellers which is scary.

have some nice tracks but thats it

Ophecks: The piano line for Electioneering is AWESOME!! I
can't get enough of that piano. I love piano lines that
seem paranoid..something mentaly wrong with it...up in some
corner cuddling. Electioneering's piano line seems that
way...

I really think amnesiac is their best
kid A has some magic moments but some mediocre too
ok computer ...its great but i much rather the others i
mentioned

I think OK Computer is probably their best album (though
lately i'm starting to like Kid a more) but i really feel
their strength now surpasses their strength back then..if
anything they will continue to become more amazing, but i
guess it depends on your preference of what you like..but
they're just fucking amazing live now with all those gadgets
and stuff

I think "OK Computer" and "Kid A" are their best, but "The
Bends" and "Amnesiac" both have some truly great tracks on
them: "Fake Plastic Trees," "Planet Telex," "Street Spirit,"
"Packt Like Sardines In A Crushd Tin Box," "Like Spinning
Plates," and "Life In A Glass House" are among my
favorites..

Pyramid Song is one of the best things my ears have ever
been blessed to hear, hope they continue to go in that avant
garde direction... I want more theatrical rock craziness and
less electronic stuff by them.
