Truthfully :)

A draw is great for England

I think Sven plays the wrong formation (4-4-2)

Southgate in a 3 man defence with Bridge wide left would be
better (Drop Mills & Cole )

But we have to be happy with 1 point (1-1)

Come on England !!!!!! ( hope rather than belief)

England and their meat head fans can go to fuck, i sincerely
hope they get completely humilated. Its not the english i
hate, nor the player, just the FANS and the MEDIA, 1966 and
all that.

Fuck off and die, no in fact STAY THERE and DIE so i can
watch you suffer.

The streets are real quiet in the UK...I think I'm one of
the only blokes in work today (it's half-term anyway so the
place is more or less deserted anyway)...

Football does really go right over my head...so I don't care
that much either way, England or Argentina...I guess I'd
like England to Win just so we can stay out there and this
party atmosphere continues; I like the way people get so
enthusiastic over stuff, it's good to see some passion from
people...

& it's so smooth to see the English (& all the other
countries) fans behaving themselves...all that
not-so-thinly-velied racism & violence is just sooo
embaressing & old-fashioned...

And it's great that it's being held in Japan...I love that
country & culture; a pity so many of our TV programmes are
about the "wacky" side of Japanese media, I'd really like to
see a proper look at modern Japanese culture that didn't
fall into that trap....I read this book called SPEED TRIBES
a few years back, bloody excellent look at Japanese youth
culture over the last 50yrs; check it out if you get a
chance...

yeah like other countries don't have football
hooligans...the english just got portrayed as the only ones,
its bullshit, the germans were just as bad

I asure you we spanish dont send hooligans to the world
cup... even though there are hooligans (ultras) during the
league but english hooligans always give problems in world
cups and euro cups, its true anyway that germans are as
bad... but dont say every country have them, cos I havent
seen hooligans from france, spain, brazil (in the torzida
they only sing and dance) poland, korea, portugal, rusia, or
any others...

I'm actually happy for England even though I don't really
support them.
YAY! That's the great thing about the World Cup, it can make
you feel extremely happy (or of course terribly sad).
It's just a massive event of emotions. Fuckin' A!

sorry about that Netlon.

I saw the Ireland- Holland match in September 2000 when I
was in Amsterdam. It was really funny watching a football
match in a coffee shop. TOTALLY different atmosphere. No-one
could be arsed to go "Yay!" or anything. Just "er, are we
winning? oh, ok, I suppose that's cool"
