dont you hate it when you come accross a loop you have on
your computer that you really like but cant quite remember
if and when you made it. i have this loop and im not sure
if its a downloaded loop or one i made. bah. actually ive
got a few loops like that.
normally i know by the directory they are in but i wasnt
always so organized.

i would hate to use a drum loop though and find that its
someone elses. i mean i make music because i want to MAKE
music not use other peoples.

Don't be so closed minded. Its about making good music...
and sampling is part of that.

i agree sampling is good but ive never been a big fan of
downloading loops and using them without first chopping them
up and adding effects and such.
really i think its my loop i dont know why im apprehensive.
the file its in is primarily loops ive made and its the same
tempo as everything else i make (i work almost completely in
180). so yeah.

you can loop everything, everybeat, everytune and every
natural sound. believe it or not.

Well, then maybe you got even better than normal one night
and produced a superior loop.

I know what you be saying.

You ever come across a loop you've made that you like so
much you want to use... but when you open the program that
you used to make it in you realize you did not save the
patch so you can't really do any variations on what you have
other than effex and people start to say that some of your
songs sound too repetetive and you have to defend yourself
without looking like a total geek and you just stay all
quiet about it and brood? I hate it when that happens.

actually i sorta know what you mean. i used to create drum
loops in fruityloops(still do) and then drop them into cool
edit for messing with them. but i wouldnt save the loop in
fruityloops and i obviously wouldnt remember exactly what
kick and snare and hats and whatever else i used in the
original loop so if i later want to only have the kick or
only the hat playing in the song i cant do that so well.
its slightly limiting to get around but you can do other
things. and anymore i always remember to save the original
loop in fruity.
