My webhost fucked me too. They upgraded all their servers but left my site on the old servers which are now really really slow and can't be FTPed to at all anymore. The only way I can be on the new servers (and do anything to my site) is to download all my files, close my account, sign back up and pay a $30 reactivation fee. I need a new host, I don't want to do that, any suggestions? |

This happened to me once, and from then on I have always worked on sites locally and mirrored them up to the webhoster. It really sucks though. At least you have backups, quite a lot of places don't even bother! |
