Yeah, I was out there in the field representing Red Cross,
talkin' loud sayin' nothing... But, much as I hate to admit
it, I don't even lnow who Harold Bishop is...

Not to mention that i thought that Bluntman and Chronic were
just a figment of Kevin Smith's imagination...

He's just a character from Neighbours. They are a figment of
his imagination. They've done some comics though for the
films. Theres a four magazine set for Jay and Silent Bob, A
Clerks hardback comic and the same for Bluntman and Chronic.
I think thers a Mallrats one in the works.

Meant to put something about the Red Cross along the lines
of Excellent.

So, were these comics any good (on Neighbours I couldn't
comment, never watched it, I know, i know)? His films are
getting worse and worse, Dogma was basically Kevin Smith
sucking his own dick and trying to mask his humanist
crititque of catholicism (worthless as any humanist
critique) as frivolity... Not to mention the unforgivable
crime of having alanis morisette in the film (and as a
positive character too...) And Jay & Silent Bob are back, I
haven't seen but was informed that it was shit... Pity, he
should really get his shit together and try to move from the
formula that made him famous but that is now only dragging
him down.

What was that about Red Cross again?

You certainly have a point. Dogma is his worst film in my
opinion. I put them in the order of Mallrats, Clerks,
Chasing Amy, JASBSB, Dogma. The comics are pretty funny as
they kind of cross-reference the films and link them quite
nicely. Unfortunately you see that he's running out of
ideas. Stuff that he's put in the comics then appears in the
films in a diferent situation. Shame. I don't hold high
hopes for his next film. The cartoon series of Clerks was
quite good too. I was just saying good stuff on the Red
Cross. Nice to do something different I suppose.

Well, let's wait and see, he's so young, I mean he still
might have some strength to pull out and do something
different/ fresh/ good... But, seeing the way danny boyle
ended up, the prospects are grim...

I still don't quite get it: nice to do something different,
say you, but different to what?

Very well put about Danny Boyle.
The Red Cross is a kind oh health service isn't it? I just
took that to mean you were doing some kind of voluntary work
yesterday. I may be completely wrong.

Oh, you are completely wrong on several points. First, Red
cross is not exactly about health, or more precisely, not
about health only. My programme, or rather, the programme i
work on is called Home Care, a community based thing, of
providing home assistance and care to elderly and vulnerable
people who have no other assistance... But, this is my full
time job, mate, and they are paying me fat money to work on
this, so it's a shame that I spend such a big amount of time
on this MB...

Everydays a school day. I know something new now. I'm proud
to be an. I reckon your right with your statement the other
day. I probably will end up being a wizard next week. Sod
Harry Pothead. This is the way to be a wizard. Woot!
