Thanks for the news...

I don't reckon I'm gonna go, was spoilt by going to
Glastonbury in 80s and now all the festivals seems to have
go corporate...but it should be broadcast either on TV or
Radio so should be able to get a decent recording...

Apparently the internet broadcast last year was pretty good
quality.

smooth...I always have trouble with streaming but I may have
Broadband by then so we'll see...

But maybe Radio 1 or someone similar might be doing a
broadcast...I get digital radio so can record onto my laptop
and then encode to MP3 and get ~CD quality...same way I did
that Rephlex Radio show (and also hope to do the upcoming
SKAM /One World show...)...

My mate was using 56k and he was impressed. Obviously better
with Broadband. Can't get that where I live.

This could be a rumour as it's not the official site yet. I
just checked. I'm hoping it's not.

It's not on the official site of reading.
I still hope the rumour that he will come to Belgium is
true.

admitedly it's nme claiming he's playing, so it could well
be b/s (my opinions of nme are far from high), but here's
hoping :)
i was kinda thinking he might be at glasto - i hear a fair
few warp artists are playing there this year - including
autechre

yes, Warp have got the Glade for the whole weekend.
if it's anything like last time there will be no Running
order, you'll just have to work out who's on by what they're
playing.

contract for Warp i doubt he'll be there

a lot of the bands will be very good... ive seen feeder live
at webley... would be interesting to see how they progressed
after their tragedy earlier this year

foo fighters and ash will also be damn good

AND Luke Vibert, AND Anto-Pop consortium will be highlights
for me :)

Ash were fucking awesome last year. I managed to be at te
front from the beginning. The Foo's will rock. It's also the
closest I'll ever get to seeing Nirvana live basically.
I'm hoping Weezer are good, Incubus, Less than Jake,
Slipknot are all the bands I'm definitely seeing whatever.
Not all because I like the music but because I just want to
see them. Obviously if AFX is there then he will over-rule
the others.

i think ash are drastically poor and all there songs are the
same.
last time i heard one of there tunes i got so bored my face
started to decay.
anyhow, i will probably go to the reading festival, just for
the friday though, but with unkle, luke vibert, afx and
jane's addiction playing on that day, why would i want
more?
what i can't understand is how PULP are headlining. they are
sooooooo bad!!

I told Tim Wheeler the (lead singer) of ash to fuck of at a
concert because I didn't realise who he was and I thought he
was trying to push in the queue. I then realised he was
trying to get through the queue to the artists' area and the
other 2 guys from the band (charlotte hadn't joined back
then) were with him and they all had artist passes on.

One of my girlfriends mates has jammed with them a couple of
times.
