VOTE NOW: AE vs AFX!!!!!!!!

ok, because of that other thread, we just have to make this
contest. once and for all, let's vote on which artist is
best: ae or afx??

of course, i realize it's a bit silly to compare 2 artists
together when it all comes down to personal taste, which is
by nature subjective, thus not really 'debatable'. both
artists are very talented, no doubt about it, and theyve
their own different ideas.

but anyways, im still intrigues to see wholl win this, so i
suggest we keep scores!

again, this is just for fun, so just vote! and dont just
take their last albums into consideration (drukqs vs
confield). both artists have released a SHITLOAD of
material...

let the madness begin:

Although I've been listening to a lot more autechre lately
(more Ae than Aphex), RDJ reigns king. Autechre never
captured some of RDJs ingeniuty and beauty, noone has.

(Despite your disclaimer you are probably going to get
attacked by 10 people who refuse to compare shit)

((sorry to triple post))

aphex twin easy.

Autechre are good, but no one has come close to that aphex
quality.

Ting! and yes, squarepusher is better than aphex, so that
statement above is false.

let me answer that after ive bought Envane and Cichlisuite.

At the moment i'd say Aphex is a better all rounder.

Aphex beats the pants of Autechre, but I really do love
both. I think Boards of Canada would probably get more
votes than Autechre at the moment--everyone seems down on AE
because of ol' Gantz Graf about to reer its ugly head. :|

I like them both. Autechre has the [dis]advantage of having
2 points of view in their group. I don't think that one is
more emotional than the other, but Aphex's emotions are
probably more outright. Aphex has a sense of humour, where
Autechre tends to be austere and serious. so I dunno. it's a
toss-up. with both of them, I only listen to 1/3-1/2 of any
given record, even though they're probably 2 of my 3
favourite artists/groups.

Brothomstates has been largely ignored and I think I'm going
to cast a vote for him, since i know no one else will :)

music = music

music doesn't = ratings

ratings are for dumb numbering techniques. why ask "which is
better" when you can listen to something & be taken to a
place where no one really knows what's going on?

that said.

i am sick of poll questions.
