...or was it? i dunno..... it was certainly entertaining, and a LOT of fun.... and DEFINITELY better than episode 1... (though ep 1 wasn't exactly hard to top ;) ..but i've given up hope that Lucas will re-capture the quality of the original trilogy :( theres a lot of hooplaw surrounding haiden christensian's performance... people said he was the highlight, but i disagree i think he wasn't that great at all... Ewan Mcgregor (spelling?) was MUCH better, and did a great job imo.. i really got a good sense of his character !!!!YODA FIGHTING WAS AMAZING!!!! ...too bad so many parts were ruined by the EXTREMELY CHEESY dialogue... and natalie portman was not that great imo.. needless to say, all the action was amazing but it seemed to be almost TOO MUCH action... (sort of)..... the whole movie seemed to be a bunch of action sequences linked together... i think people go too hard on starwars though... its just good fun, its not supposed to be some avante garde work of art... its not some intillectual movie, just good fun, and thats all it should be reviewed as! |

lots of time was basically just "therapy" for Anakin....the love scenes were very cheesy, the most basic romantic cliches was all they said, and there are too many of these scenes, they fucked up the movie... the whole save my mum thing was also cheesy and non-effective, i didn't feel sympathy for the mum because she was only shown for about a minute and the whole dying in his arms thing was way too convenient.. and i didn't feel any sympathy for him because...well he's a cock! everything but the above mentioned was good, great effects, good story line, great fights, Yoda was the best! |

I just saw it and thought it was boring, the battles at the end were alright, but man, why they killed off the bounty hunters so easily I have no idea. That count dooku or whatever his name was is the lamest star wars villain ever. I also didnt like that all the stormtroopers were cgi, give me a man in a costume any day. |

i hope ep 3 was better then the past 2. 1 was garbage ( although darth maul was really cool) 2 was aight, like slama said, it had a lot of bad shit in there |

The second time I saw episode two I grew to appreciate it more. What a fucking awesome movie. Natalie portman's acting seemed to get worse as she got hotter, her looks and talent have an inverse relationship. (she was much better in EP1) |
