It's back on the BBC, and it's absolutely quality. Has
anyone else been watching it?

Jimmy Nail. Genius.

I caught some of it the other night - it was OK!

Fucking A! I love that show. I'm too young to have see it
first time round but I saw the repeats and laughed my
bolloks off. So the new series was welcome by my standards
and it's actually quite good.

Same here mate, same here......

I saw the old series repeated a few years ago and it's
absolutely class. And the new series is really good too.
If you saw it the other night, when Oz's son was getting
grief on the street by some drunkard for being gay..........
that drunkard is the landlord of one of my locals!!!!

And also, a schoolfriend of mine used to babysit for Tim
Healey (the guy who plays Den).

Fascinating stuff, eh?

I know. I'm afraid that's the best I can do, though. We
don't have very many interesting celebrities up here in
Newcastle. I'm sure that, coming from London, you could put
me to shame!

Mind you, I once saw Neil Kinnock......
