I have about a month and a half left before i have to move out (July 1st), and with the horrible job market here in Seattle, WA, or any other part of WA or even the USA for that matter, I have two decisions:
1)Join the American Airforce...Which i really don't want to do for countless reasons.
2)Join a college that has great oportunities and especially a dorm which i can live at.
my problem is that i have applied for federal aid and my results came back saying that i don't qualify for any pell grants, "however there are other forms of aid that i can apply for." What forms of aid is this? the site that says this doesn't offer any links, and I'm left in the dark...
anyone have any ideas what these other forms of aid could be? How do i apply for them? and any other info would greatly be apreciated.
btw...i'm going to be setting up a confrence w/ the art institute of seattle to try and see if i we can figure any thing out.

good for you that you don't have to work, my playing is strictly limited to at most two hours in the evening, I have to get up for work each morning. I'm playing Soldier of Fortune 2 at the moment.

You might try contacting universities directly. Usually they have a long list of grants and such that you can apply for. Even if you don't get pell grants, you can still get financial aid like loans, and if you do well enough in your first year, they're pretty willing to switch it over to scholarship, etc.
On the topic of being a vampire, I think I must be one too. Every weekday I have to get up at 7:00 to go to work, but then every weekend I'm always up till at least 5:00 in the morning. It sucks.

coincidentally you're in Washington, so come to my school, EWU :) it's cheap, and it's a pretty good basic university education. if you're going to live in the dorms, though, don't move into Pearce Hall unless you don't like sleep. oh and don't move into Dressler or Morrison if brick walls remind you of prison.

my heart's really content on going to the art institute of seattle, i've talked w/ the head of admins there many o' times, and she keeps talking about loans in my diff fams name...like the loan is in their name, but i pay the bill. I know that my fam won't go for it...my mother might...but highly doubtful...also, my credit is shit...i owe over 2 k to diff collections agencies, but i'm not sure as to what all is actually reported on my credit record, so i really don't think i can get loans...yet i really hope so...at this moment, i'll practially do anything to keep my personality/who i am, and not to be a reprogrammed cookie cutter soilder of the US Airforce.
btw...i do plan on talking to the admins lady, later today...for now, time for sleep...

Yeah, ring the individual institutions' financial departments and find out what grant/loan packages each one offers.

yeah...there are lots of different scholarships/grants/loans out there...
youre best bet would be to talk to the school's financial aid office...as its their job to help people with that sort of thing
