i got their album last year, really cool stuff. the other
tracks are more relaxed than emerge (except maybe fucker).
there are also several great remixes of emerge on soulseek.
The 15th and Tone Poem are my favs.
btw, i heard one of them was on the plane that went into the
pentagon, but i dunno if it's true, maybe i mixed things
up...

so anyway, good show. not musically though, really. mostly
they just lip synched to the c.d. playing. or perhaps sang
karaoke but anyway there were no musical
instruments/synths/computers on the stage. but as Casey
Spooner said to the audience:
fischerspooner ain't shit without dance
this was like a techno cabaret show. There were 8 (I hear
that they can have as many as 20)people on stage including
several quite attractive, scantilly clad dancers, 3-4
costume changes, stunning light show, confetti and even
theatrical blood. I'm not one who is into musicals or Vegas
style dance acts but this I found quite entertaining. If
they come to your town and you want to see a SHOW then I
would recommend Fischerspooner's dance spectacle. don't go
expecting to hear any live mixes of their music however.
but i think you would have to be quite a stiff not to be
entertained at this performance.

and for the single guys:
you know how when you go to the usual IDM show and the place
is about 95% male, and the 5% of females are there with
their boyfriends? well i have to say fischerspooner's
audience had many well dressed and attractive females in
count. The ladies love Fischerspooner. just another reason
for yall to check 'em out.

>>I'm not one who is into musicals or Vegas

Don't believe nor trust the opinion of this guy. I've known
him for a good many years now. I can say without hesitation
that he is one who is most DEFINITELY into musicals and
vegas style dance acts. And is in fact, quite entertained
by them. Make of that what you will. But I'd injest his
review with just a wee grain of salt.

They started out as a performance art group... the cd's
about the music, the live show's all about the dancing.
I think it's probably the only performance art "exhibit"
i've ever enjoyed.

i got the album a while ago and i liked it at first, and it
is sort of catchy, but now i find it mainly unimpressive and
quite boring. i think it has a greater effect on fans of
more mainstream music, because when i showed it so some of
my "friend" they actually liked it.

bought the album a few weeks ago, after only hearing a few
songs. it's great the whole way through.

really fun tracks, i can imagine seeing them dance live to
this stuff would be amazing and entertaining.

I like them. The Junkie XL remix of one of their tracks (I
can't remember which one) is great.

chances are you'll like Adult (who I've just found
out have remixed for Fischerspooner).

I have seen them LIVE 3 more times since my previous
