there's been this "what are the 10 albums you'd pick if stranded on a deserted island" and you know what? no one's ever fucking quantified this: what sort of system do i have, here? do i have proper monitors and a sub on my desert island, or just headphones? do i have to solar charge my apparatus and i only get to listen to two hours of music a day? then this really changes my selection that if i can go about the island on headphones forever, i need at least a few albums of work music, like prodigy, to split wood and hunt grubs or whatever one does to not die on a deserted island. however, if i have two hours of music a day on solar charge, i'd rather not sit there and waste it on listening to "Diesel Power" for the 23147th time. i'd want something deeper to sit there and focus on to get the most out of it so i officially hate this whole theoretical livejornal poll question shit and i'm not answering it ever again. |
