my basic philosophy is that i know precisely which notes i want, but i was born with oven mitts, or shark fins, or something, and i just hit the keyboard and it's most of the right notes but perhaps not all of them, as well as some wrong one besides. simply by keeping at it, i've developed a lot more resolution over the years. then i saw videos of sun ra and thot: "figures someone else had it first and is far more interesting to watch at it too" |

i'm shit at the piano to be clear, like child in second year at best, but it's fun to learn pieces. something tells me it's not richard's idea of fun. who knows! |
