i have never heard of this man so i tried to look him up
it's my duty as an xltronic member to contribute
but the problems were too distinctly british. I was unable to muster up either outrage or support. I gave up after it started talking about "football," the "BBC," and "parliament." I bet some article about it has the words "figgy pudding" in some context

right, the german news explained it to me. first of all, reading yesterdays news, i was rather surprised about sunak paying france half a billion to build a thing/camp/prison to be able to deport and then keep british asylum seekers in france. i mean, come on, youre willing to pay these kind of sums of money to keep people out of the country, wow. there has got to be another way. then sunak wants to change the law to put asylum seekers on a blacklist, if they illegally crossed borders, thus preventing them to ever become asylants in the uk. one may argue this could encourage asylum seekers to go "the proper way" but i doubt this is gonna happen. it only enables the uk to deport more people.
so now lineker speaks ups against it, gets in trouble, colleagues stand by his side. thats two big thumbs up imo
