is the US fed overdoing the interest rate raises not, actually, for inflation... but to slather more pressure onto both russia and china, at an opportune moment? and we're all simply being told it's just for inflation, and not about sending the juan plummeting vs. the dollar as we ban exports of -- i think this is really true -- 18nm semiconductors, which is like, cutting edge of ten years ago -- to china. then the vague whiff of, like, maybe uncle sam finally caved and rolled its own troll farm, and suddenly putin has lost control of his narrative, spats are getting pubic, while iran -- who is arming russia against ukraine -- suddenly has another arab spring situation. putin's buddies are getting mad a sending a few-kiloton "small" nuke into a ukrainian power plant is, i hope, nyet. instead he's just spitefully bombing civilian shit to appease the russian right wing, so they don't turn on him. after the bridge shit; ceremonial sacking. the new guy looks like blofeld from bond. the winter over there is harsh; both sides will take a breather for the winter. this is bad because russia will rebuild. meanwhile china is close to certain levels of supercomputer, that's why there's so mad about the 18nm ban... US security getting better but they're very studied in turning all of our strengths into disadvantages. they've seen plenty of HIMARS; they'll have thought about how to take those out, now. next biden is sending in air defense and they'll get to see that too. i get the impression putin hasn't used hypersonic much yet because he's saving that to deliver a nuke; don't want anyone to see it in action much and potentially learn to defend against it. but essentially the US fed is deliberately shoving over a global recession to sap russia and china while they're both sucking mud but it's just a theory. |

would make sense if the chinese/taiwan strategy is: "Let's watch Russia get annihilated -- In fact, yes, let's egg them on -- and use that to gather intelligence about the US military, so we know how to capture Taiwan." |
