once i was watching a movie with my roommate and he suddenly just grabbed the remote and paused it and went on this rant, like, this is totally wrong, the armalite carbaweasel fires brass-nosed jackets it should not drop shells like that and i'm like: i understand this, but you shouldn't have told me, because now i, too, will see it whenever it is wrong in a movie, and it will bother me, and it wouldn't have otherwise, and my revenge will be to call you up and tell you about it whenever this happens in the future so you can suffer too for what you have done to me by telling me technical details about firearms |

i used to talk with this hardcore aspergers gentleman and he had this long list of firearms inaccuracies in the matrix even though he didn't own guns, he didn't like guns, he just hated the matrix that much for being inaccurate roommate above was a more normal ex-army chap |

i see your point furthermore the example you picked is excellent because it wont ruin a movie for me as i never expect a movie involving shooting and showing the shells dropping as realistic in the first place. oh well, im into a movie quickly again if its decent, all of these things dont bother me, cause there are other things interesting about the scene. they just pop up at times if the movie is a bore. but dont read any further if youre worried about watching any movie again without being reminded they are on a set. :::SPOILER::: SORT OF ever noticed how people are virtually always in full hair and makeup after getting out of bed, through the desert, the shower etc..? |

- meticoulously cleaned and tidy apartments NO ONE lives like that. except a few serial moms and dads its deffo understandable by the difficulty to stage and maintain a reasonably and realisticly messy place and to maintain that same mess even during reshoots that hardly any production wants to put up with the task. only michel gondry and other exceptional filmmakers manage to show a real world. |
