I just use it in firefox on a laptop. it's fine the mobile app is also good, because afaik it isn't electron based. I don't know how they fuck up the electron app so bad because it's literally just Chrome that can only visit a single site. Maybe they threw in a bitcoin miner, WHO KNOWS |

This is the way things work now, because a company's developer hours are far more expensive than an end user's RAM or CPU cycles. But why does it have to be so especially bad in the case of the Discord desktop app I do not know. Chrome's js engine is so good they broke it out as Node. You'd think they could do better. |
