Astrobotnia is NOT AFX

Richard D. James has nothing to do with Astrobotnia - he
didn't even co-produced it.

Grant told me this. Now we know.

So who is it then? A new artist?

Thank fuck Phob... I was gettin annoyed at the fact that
peeps said "Oh but it sounds like AFX..."

I SAY ITS HIS INFLUENCE. Thats why some of it sounds AFXish.

I honestly don't know who it is. The music kicks so much ass
tho.

Still not 100% convinced..

Many people I know have asked Grant and the replies have
been a little suspect...

I dunno...it's cool new music anyway...

True. :)

Is it true that Sweden has loads of blonde.... ah, never
mind.

I have asked him several times as well and got some
suspicious answers... but this time grant emailed me and
asked me to tell you this.

"rephlex have kept it mysterious because we want people
to judge (and hopefully buy!) the music without
preconceptions"

Yes, the music is great! I listened to the 15 + 8 minutes
clips yesterday at rephlex.com. Today, however, when I
clicked my way in there too listen to them again, they both
clips were reduced to a lousy 31 seconds!

Does anyone know where I can find the original clips?

Aha, maybe its a woman, and they keep all this secrecy stuff
going to prevent all the sexist electronica fans from
spending their money elsewhere?!? Maybe its Leila!

I'm sceptical about new artist can make a so beautiful and
complex triple album.

I think Rephlex is just better at keeping secrets now...they
learned their lessons with Bradley Strider.

It's all about the music though, so it doesn't really
matter.

I don't like any female electronic artists, in fact, I don't
like very many female musicians. I particularly hate Mira
Calix. Not because I have any preconceptions, just haven't
found any yet.

not afx? so why oh why would they go out of the way to deny
this? i guess it must be someone we already know anyway
otherwise there would be no point in keeping it secret :)
