Bib did a Europe/UK thing a few years ago. I remember going
into the bassists bedroom years even before that one night
and he was just sitting in his underwear watching MTV
internet. I can't really recall MTV ever being good here in
the U s A except when Aeon Flux was on late nights and they
played rap videos til Y2K destroyed our nation

No idea why I stopped coming here. Life got in the way I
guess. I have 3 kids now.
Managed to cop an Aphex Umbrella when they went on sale
though. I use it.

I think I have an outstanding email to reply to about BIYC.
I didn't keep a proper backup myself but there's some stuff
in the gmail account.

Oh yeah, anyone who had my mobile number before. It's
probably the same now. ends in 374. Hit me up if you want.

None of my kids are ginger. Makes sense, seems to skip
generations in my family.

I was saying to CeriJC that I was amazed the site was still
around and that I had just logged in. He mentioned there was
a thread with my name on it.

I like having my 3 kids. They're fun, mostly.

it's a recessive allele. hence the "red-headed step-child"
joke. you need dual ginger parents. you can passively carry
it through generations but you need dual ginger parents to
actually have it.

if your wife is also ginger, get a paternity test. otherwise
it's normal

my dad once said, at the office, where i had a summer
nepotism job, at lunch, "i'm just a scotsman who can't grow
a proper beard." and in my early 20's, oh, heck, i just let
it all explode, and i found i have the same problem; this
looks like shit. not nearly thick enough. but, hell, it's
actually ginger, what of it there is? i guess my hair has a
bit of that going on too

but now i'm getting grey around the temples and i'm mad
close to just starting to shave my head again. hair is over;
fuck off

i should dig up some photos. in particular, i am thinking of
the one where i am, like, 190-200lb, 2009, stoned as shit,
in some incredibly gay tie-dye t-shirt, sitting in the
doorway to my studio, and essentially emitting the vibe of
an incredibly smug satisfied garfield. but i think that was
a good beard photo; the weasels flag it as such. but i
cannot dredge up conclusive macaroni art proof. not sure. i
could very well find that photo, and be clean shaven. but
still all the above and drat. i'll let you know if i find it

I saw when the umbrellas and stuffed aphex bears were for
sale on an aphex flash site or something like it and at the
time I was getting super intense thoughts on why these items
for sale why not the logo on other things for sale too? And
I thought about who might ever buy to own the merchandise I
was looking at, umbrella and teddy bear.

that's all from 2008. it's all kinda crap, but, i dunno, i'd
like to organize it for someone to dig through in case i do
actually get hit by a bus? no plans anytime soon

first ever things on bandcramp. no one bought them ever.
it's ok no worries

lie ~ i read some chris chark interview and he is
repeatedly talking about repeatedly feeding audio back into
itself, so i am just taking bits of sh101 and shit and
repeatedly bouncing it down in cubase and after a while,
what am i doing? i am making decisions with every round; i
am amplifying myself. with each decision i make the audio
more mine. and the processed audio starts singing, lieeee,
lie

loneloy old lou that i recall i was eight years old when the
flutes off clannad's "dulaman" spoke words to me. like, this
is just a flute, but it is talking. and i wanted to write a
song that had lyrics without vocals and i really should try
this again someday because i quite succeeded.

where is lars? that's the next one i need to find

oh well have tunnel one, that if you remember badger
badger mushroom mushroom, i dunno, you are sort of doing
that, on a moving platform with precisely timed lights? as
the platform is moving through a giant subway tunnel?

really i feel this is the best attitude for music

there's a kingdom beyond a star
i believe you know it's not too far
most people hate you
but what can you do
for lonely old lou.

I very much wanted to get a Teddy but I had to be a good
boy. Can't just spunk money on Aphex tat all the time now.
Plus I'd wanted an Umbrella for ages. I'm the coolest Dad at
the football matches now. Rocking my Aphex umbrella and my
battery heated jacket.

I’m going to assume so. Fuck knows how it decides who to
show. I get a lot of BBQ content now though which is good.
