Why is this MB CENSORED? My Theory: There is no right and
wrong. Only action & consequence. Every single person knows
exactly what is right for them to do at that moment no facts
are relevant. BE HERE NOW, meaning concentrate on the
PRESENT, what your doing RIGHT NOW, forget about the past
and the future.
It is not possible to make a mistake its all experience.
If you think its right for you to take drugs. It is right
FOR YOU period. If you think its wrong for you to take
drugs it is wrong FOR YOU. You are Both RIGHT, at any given
moment you know exactly what is right for you. Obviously no
one can believe murder, stealing, raping is right for them
to do. There is no right and wrong it doesnt exist. Debate
is a waste of time.

jimisteel, you are correct. but most people aren't able to
handle the truth. there is no absolute right and wrong, only
subjectiveness. it can be a scary thought when considered by
the masses, which are not ready.

hey spooky spelling mistakes are a fact of life...I make so
many but it's primarily because I am crap at typing..as far
as jmini's views go..they are a bit wobbly and skewed..this
is not an open free for all forum like the usenet but a
Website being managed by Phobia..though I may not always
agree with some of his shut downs...it is Phobiazero's

You just said each person decides what is right and what is
wrong for them....except for certain acts (rape, murder).
These acts are nothing more then actions society has told is
wrong. So you are really a slave to the chains.

i agree with jimisteel......

you dont have to think to hard to find that what is right
and wrong is just an indiviudal thing
its subjective

u have to be pretty naive (spelling? i wouldn't want to
offend spookyluke) to actually believe that whatever side u
took is THE right one
absolutely
those people with other views are just plain wrong
.....ya right..

there are no absolute or fundamental truths or morals.....
everyone makes their own

one point that demonstrates this very well is abortion

so i challenge anyone who disagrees to please..
[IN A CIVILIZED MANER (not childish remarks and "thats just
stupid" bullshit or name-calling please)]

...pick an issue, and tell is why one side is JUST PLAIN
RIGHT (or wrong)

and u cant just say "it just is"

PS:
ive noticed people tend to get really offended when this
things are discussed....
...because its very difficult to face that all the
supposedly self evident, fundimental truths uve built ur
mind around are not real at all
but that uve made them urself
(or someone else did, and u just believe them)

oh well

PLEASE dont call me a fucking "nazi" (thats what happened
last time this was discussed) just because i awknowlege that
right/wrong (morals) are made by the individual

this does NOT mean that i am some sort of EVIL person who
enjoys doing "wrong" things

please

...I'm not at all religious; I am, however, in favor of a
society where people do what's right and wrong based upon
legal practices. It just isn't pragmatic for everyone to go
about doing whatever they feel is right. If you want to use
drugs, that's your prerogative, but it doesn't make it right
at all.
And as far as spelling goes, spelling errors are okay,
provided they aren't elementary homophones, such as using
"your" in place of "you're."

offline Spookyluke from United States on 2002-04-24 02:52 [#00191585]

Right--I know, I make spelling errors, too. It's just the
really pathetic ones that bother me. It's very... hmm, I'll
go with "apathetic" to make such basic mistakes. It's the
writing level of a first-grader.

he probably thought he was right
and so did a few other people

if u value human life u will think he is wrong
(i value life, and i think he was wrong)

if u believe that the colour of ur skin, ur religion, or ur
heretige somehow makes u superior to others............ then
u might think he was right
(i personally do not)

but of course its easy to pic out right/wrong in cases like
this....... where a value as basic as human life is
questioned
most people are on the same page here
(that life is valubale, race doesn't matter, and hitler was
wrong)
its still subjective

try something a little harder to "prove"
something where peoples values and morals actually differ a
lot

.....that wether he was right or wrong is STILL subjective

the mere fact that two people (ie: u and hitler) have
differing opinions on wether he was right or wrong PROVES
that it is subjective

im just trying to say theres no such thing as a fundamental,
absolute right or wrong

everyone creates it for themselves, thats all
....and it only exists in ur head (even in cases so
apparently obvious)

Sure, spelling errors happen--I know, there are typos. The
point is, if one has a high school education and is a native
speaker of English, one should, then, use the correct
spelling. It's good practice.

hm.....
good idea

but then whos right comes first?

what if i want to listen to music, but my sister wants to
read (quietly)
and for arguments sake, lets say theres no compromise
possible (ie headphones dont exist, and neither of us can do
our thing somewhere else)

so i couldn't listen to music cus it would interfere with
her reading
but she couldn't read cus then i wouldn't be able to listen
to music
(yes i realize there are a bunch of easy solutions, but this
is just a hypothetical situation, to make a point)

my point is that there would still be some situations in
which peoples rights would confict

then one person would claim to be right and that the other
is wrong

...but the law that "everyone can do what they want but
cannot infring on another's right to do so aswell", would
make BOTH me and my sister right AND wrong

...see what i mean?

(sorry if im babbling on here.. but this is interesting to
me)
