i was in a bit of a mood and i slid out for literally the last spot open at the bar; i have dialed my timing down quite solidly at this point. and saturday nite, this bar usually always has, like, some cover band playing. but tonight they're covering deep puple's "hush" exactly like kula shaker does it so lovely and i am just absolutely grooving out at my spot at the bar, to some old fart's consternated confusion. i clocked out my drink allowance a song or two later and gave the band a double thumbs-up on the way out |

one other thing i appreciate about this bar is how they have a smokery out back, with a zig dispenser, and... zig or not, if i want to kind of omit a low-key entry, i can just walk around back and enter through the alternate egress; emerge towards the bar like i just came from the bathroom and dodge the hostess entirely. because, really, i am always going to sit at the bar, here. but entering like that, very satisfying. like posting in the wrong thread |
