a squarewave, a resonant band-pass filter, then maybe you have the mod wheel going to the amount of lfo that modulates the pitch i can have you that sound in three minutes without farting or autotune. so, interesting, funny, but ultimately disappointing. not very sonically interesting. but then this is autotune i guess, that's what it does. i stand by the validity of my . even though i've since learned that t-pain can actually sing, and actually sounds better without autotune. he was just fucking about with it and became his trademark then he's stuck w/it |

I wasn't trying to be sour. I actually didn't even listen to the whole thing, thus did not ear the rendering. That I hadn't even thought to view it as a composition. I just saw the vid title and my ears perk up, ohhh, can you do something good like that I thot it'd just be like... ...like it was. Then I'm just annoyed and I'm not listening to what the guy does with it and perhaps it is well funny I was just not in the mood to hear it after that |

w/rt fart I have work soon I cannot touch my synthesizers right now I absolutely cannot. It's almost AA levels if I touch them now I might be on them all day and get fired That my first thought is to explain my 3 minute fart sound quickly and then get to work trying to do a more built out one with lots of gear at once and that could take all day and no not going near that now sorry |

lol the clip was just 30 seconds long! typing the response must have taken longer, but no worries its all good fun :) generating sounds with soft/synths or gear is immense fun anyhow, havent had a laugh doing that a while now and i miss it every once in a while two days ago i thought about making another remix, cause i had an evening off, but opted for trancers on vhs. havent seen it before, such a ridiculous and funny b-movie in neon-noir style. |

oh, i've done this one before. it's on the board somewhere. that tim exile teamed up with some VST people and made a plugin called The Mouth to make physically modeled mouth sounds in a VST in a musically useful way. of course, my immediate reaction was: i should make a competing plugin called The Butt that features accurate physical modeling of the human bowel, anus, cheeks, the whole deal, for expressive, accurate, professional synthesized farting. you have sliders for volume, pressure, anus dilation, you know. for FX, you can add underwear, and then pants; muffle it a bit.
