I just read she had part of her brain removed to control her
epilepsy, perhaps they fucked up the operation a bit and
that's why she seemingly lacks reason and empathy

Cos it's fully true, not a fact wrong. If Labour want to
lose the next election fine. Then the next election after
that. Fine. The Tories can stay in for the next 30 years
because they at least pretend to listen to the working class
voters. Would you prefer an Owen Jones article full of
deluded middle class lies and bullshit? Hope it feels good
when labour keep losing elections for the ideological purity
to be protected.

40 years of deteriorating conditions and runaway poverty in
England and the US stoked by Reagan and Thatcher dismantling
the public sector, based on the ideas of Hayek, Friedman and
Buchanan, and the right has been entirely too successful in
blaming this on "not enough racism!" instead of on the
wealthy elites who engineered it in the first place.

Reagan pulled this trick this too, blaming "welfare queens"
as he crushed unions and defunded and deregulated the
nation's infrastructure, and people bought his crap then, so
not surprising people would buy it again today. Economics is
boring, but hate and scapegoating is sexy!

just protecting the rights of good, solid, white proletarian
stock eh. i'm not even getting into why labour lost the
election, this country is full of fuckwits but don't kid
yrself yr some wronged everyman who can mix gaitskell and
yaxley-lennon to bring labour back to power. anyway i wonder
if "britain first" share your views on the telepathic master
race. and don't assume i'm some middle-class, ponce
snowflake "mate". if you can't get a handle on why that
article is garbage i don't know what to do with you

You're blaming the voters, bad move in a democracy!

Labour manifestoes were ridiculous and preposterous in the
time of Thatcher. Instead of privatising everything they
wanted to nationalise everything. It was dumb. Just like
opposing British independence got Labour hammered at the
last general.

https://youtu.be/XK2DfWxymrg
Hugh Gaitskell as described by Walden

What's not to like?

> You're blaming the voters, bad move in a democracy!

You can't disagree with a democratically elected politician
or his policies, because to do so is to disagree with his
voters? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard, and
literally undermines the concept of democracy.

> Labour manifestoes were ridiculous and preposterous in the
time of Thatcher. Instead of privatising everything they
wanted to nationalise everything. It was dumb.

Well, two things here. Can you be specific about what Labour
wanted to nationalise that you thought was bad, and do you
like what's happened in the last 40 years since Thatcher got
the Hayekian ball rolling?

They wanted to nationalise everything. Everything. Tories
still mock Michael Foot's manifesto, cruelly, as the longest
suicide note in history.

Compare and contrast with the "Ed Stone"

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/EdStone

My family hate Thatcher

When Thatcher died this guy took a photo of me holding a
sign with hahah the witch is dead on it. I haven't got the
photo but it exists somewhere on someone's pen drive

In the UK we have trains that don't run on time, carriages
are full. The service is shit. Trains get cancelled to fill
quotas. The private companies get bailed out with taxpayer
cash. I'm totally against that incompetent, greedy shit.
Nationalise the railways 100%. In moderation nationalisation
can work.

Nothing wrong with that view. As that is just seeking a
solution to improve what isn't working as it could. In
democracy it doesn't need to be extremist left or right
extremist policy.

Which is why I don't get this attack by westerners on
western culture in the name of equality?
It's immediately hypocritical by ignoring those standards in
other countries?
Bit like that corporate funded Swedish puppet used to shame
the west into climate change activism...
Wouldn't get as much of a voice in China, India, or any
African or Arab Countries, so it's pretty pointless.

RT is the kremlin’s media puppet Umbro. Its main purpose
is to sow disinformation and unrest in the west. Objective
journalism is not their modus operandi. Wouldn’t really
trust them. Sometimes they might do a puff piece on
migrating whales getting caught in fisher nets or something,
which is alright I suppose.

No sure there is a truly objective news source. They’re
all riddled with bias and all seek to drive a narrative of
some kind.

online belb from mmmmmmhhhhzzzz!!! on 2020-06-20 14:36 [#02603801]
Points: 6239 Status: Lurker

well yeah, deconstruction of sources is important and
objectivity is difficult, but honestly, russia today can't
seriously be considered a legit source. it's a polemic
factory spouting garbage to poison real debate. just look at
the language in that article and how protestors of different
races are described...

online belb from mmmmmmhhhhzzzz!!! on 2020-06-20 14:47 [#02603802]

anyway, even a cursory glance at the numbers - BLM-led
protest injures 27 cops, BF-led "a tenth of the size at
best" injures 6 cops - makes it clear who the
"troublemakers" are. shouldn't BLM have injured at least 60
if it was of equivalent aggression?

Not sure of your figures, but that supposes that Policing
was equal to both sides.

From my perspective it seemed policing of the BLM protests
was very carefully conducted not to insight conflict for a
week.

This saw the dismantling and desecration of statues without
police reaction, which lead to a counter demonstration to
protect targeted statues and the two sides got into
unnecessary violent exchanges.

Not to say it doesn't have the occasional interesting guest
on it, or actually something of truth mixed in. But mostly
it exists to sow discord amongst western democracies, thats
what i think anyway

i'm quoting the RT article itself with those figures

why has the policing strategy been different at BLM and BF
protests, would you say? this is assuming it has been, of
course. do you think whites, or specifically BF members, are
being more readily arrested? cards on the table time, cliff
