Hypie can get in the tub too and all us non-millenials can
non-ironically talk to each other in the nude. I can't even,
etc.

on Wikipedia says some say gen x ended 1984 and im 1982 so
im going by that completely biased metric

Generation x ends in 1979 according to my charts. I could
either be generation x or a xennial.

bramble and getting all the roots out with no pieces
snapping off. but ykno its just a bit of gardening. i need
to get into something more interesting

it's actually kind of weird to me
i'm trying to figure it out
it seems something like it's tied to the act of breathing,
and that's part of what makes loss the ritual feel like a
missing piece beyond the chemical dependency aspect

Gardening is lovely. It's okay to take pleasure in simple
things. (though, gardening can certainly be complex).

I have a (capsicum) pepper plant that I grew from
seedlings. It survived the winter, and this season's first
batch of peppers are beginning to ripen. It's good, you
know. To water it, and feed it. Makes one feel like a
caretaker. Or is it caregiver? I'll send you a picture when
it's time for harvest.

Have you ever tried to growing fruits or vegetables? Pepper
is a fruit, wouldn't you know.

me - only because im sick of cooking

ten years ago, in the depths of my 20s, i just needed to be
stoned all the time. was younger, handled it well enough,
but still didn't really do myself any favors pushing it all
day. however, eventually, that faded naturally. instead of
"oh i haven't smoked recently" it became "oh i haven't
smoked in a while." being high is, generally, a fucking
relief. if i'm busy and productive, though, i don't miss
it... except, long term, i'm not daydreaming as much and on
my way to becoming a much more boring person

alcohol is about the opposite of all this.

i had to smoke it in tiny amounts every day just to be happy
otherwise i would wake up in the morning stricken with grief
because i had no economic viability and i knew it at 14

and im talking about a bramble that probably got established
in the late 80s and hadnt been challenged since. you dug up
something like that?
