Trump impeachment

1 year before an election they try to impeach trump. Why
don't they just wait for the election? If he's so bad surely
he will lose.

Then the reason for impeaching him is because Biden and his
son were corrupt in Ukraine.

That's right. Trump must be impeached because the Bidens are
corrupt.

Wtf

President accused of narcissism... Such an obvious thing to
say. Which presidents in history were not narcissists? Count
them on one hand.

Whistle blower my arse.

Anonymous accusations without any evidence to back up the
claim? That's the democrat way.

nope

he has no evidence, umbro. he's trying to smear biden
because he's behind in the polls. the sooner the cunt is
gone the better. i don't understand why you support him,
it's really baffling to me

this is assuming he does leave office, impeached or not. but
he's just a shiny gladhanding figurehead anyway, it's the
entire government that's fucking despicable

I don't like Biden, but I think what his trying to smear his
son with is precisely everything his own family are doing,
his Daughter and son in law are all round the world making
incredibly shady deals, Trump was leveraging foreign aid to
smear a political opponent with the help of a foreign
government,

I find it incredibly weird, there are like two concurrent
news networks that run totally contrary to one another but
are like mirror images of one another. Just depends on what
you think is more plausible, Trump show everyday one he is
the definition of a morally bankrupt cretin, you don't even
need to get a secondary source to find out what the truth is
IMHO.

1) trump gets impeached
2) all his fanboys come out of the woodwork like angry bees
3) an umblemished republican runs for office instead of a
severely damaged trump
4) possible republican president again next round

but perhaps it's still the right thing to do; trump has
really gone too far.

as much as a blustering imbecile he is, I guess at least he
is too distracted with golf to start a new war, I think its
people who enabled this whole situation like Mitch McConnell
and Rupert Murdoch who will never be got rid off, the
éminence grise hovering in the background knowing not to be
under too much public scrutiny so get a buffoon in to take
the flack.

I think the Democrats are equally to blame, they have been
really limp wristed on fighting their own corner, also
manipulating their own primaries to get Hilary Clinton as
their presidential candidate really backfired, if they
hadn't have done that, none of this would have happened. I
think for a lot of people Trump was the anyone but Clinton
candidate cos she had that much baggage

on clinton vs trump -- yes, totally. all the democrats had
to do was put up someone more likable than trump, and they
failed. no one likes hillary rodhat clintop. i certainly
don't

round ii, more solid thingk --

the idea was, perhaps, to avoid an unpopular impeachment
attempt; let trump run himself into the ground via being
left to his own devices until election day. now, however,
he's influencing foreign governments to influence the US
elections, and this changes the calculus of sitting on
hands. hence, i suspect, pelosi's change of float

yeah she doesn't come across as a genuine person, a bit like
Ellen d eGeneres, plus like Biden she represents the status
quo, shes regressive if anything, keep wall street happy
everything else will sort itself out

offline Hyperflake from Wirral (United Kingdom) on 2019-09-24 23:44 [#02586113]

yeah it was sound reasoning, the trouble is he is meddling
so badly he needs to be taken out before the instruments of
American democracy crumble, as was said if you don't impeach
for this what do you impeach for? he has already had half a
dozen impeachable offenses before this one.

Whats surprising is how entrenched people are to Trump, how
they intractably stick to him like flies to a dog turd. I
would never devote so much personal faith to one person
alone, especially in politics no matter their persuasion,
its much more like a cult of personality

As a candidate, Trump was quick to denounce previous wars
as disasters, but his complaint about these wars was that
the U.S. wasn’t “getting” anything tangible from them.
He didn’t see anything wrong in attacking other countries,
but lamented that the U.S. didn’t “take” their
resources. That is not what I would call an antiwar
argument.

During the campaign he never called for an end to the wars
that were still ongoing, but talked only about “winning”
them. He explicitly campaigned on escalating the war on ISIS
(and he has done that), and he never committed to ending
U.S. involvement in any other conflict (and there is no
danger he will ever do that). He picked up the phrase
“America first” after he heard the phrase in an
interview with two New York Times reporters. He clearly
didn’t know where it came from or what it meant, but it
sounded good and he ran with it.

You know what would be fucking epic? If the House brought
back Robert Mueller to deliver the coup de grâce during the
impeachment hearing, and, upon taking the stand, he removes
from his briefcase and proceeds to recite, verbatim, the
Washington Post's annotated Mueller Report, for hours on
end, dropping truth bomb after truth bomb, exposing the
shocking details of Trump's collusion, and subsequent
coverup thereof, with Russia and The Ukraine during the 2016
election. As the clock ticks on the Republican
congresspeople gasp at the horrifying revelations in each
new subsubsection, while those on the Democratic side smirk
knowingly: we can read the exact words—I told you
so
—passing through their heads. Sporadic chants of
"Shame! Shame! Shame!" rise from the gallery; one
prospicient political observer has even brought along a
small bell to ring after every seventh cry. Sometime around
hour twelve or thirteen of Mueller's recitation the camera
pans to an especially haggard-looking Trump, now drenched in
sweat and the juices of rotting fruit, clutching his
forehead with both hands and rocking back and forth like the
lunatic he has been reduced to. Staggering to his feet, he
feebly attempts to raise his hand. "Is there an objection,
Mr. President?" asks Speaker Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
"I..." he attempts to respond, but finds himself unable to
speak. "Spit it out!" yells the speaker with a righteous
glare. "I can't... I can't take it anymore... I hereby...
resign... the Presidency—" "Resignation is not enough!"
shrieks AOC. "By the evidence presented here today I find
you guilty of treason! And for that... the Constitution
mandates only one punishment." Two Secret Service agents
tackle Trump to the ground, and, in dead silence, the sound
of his skull hitting the floor is followed by the moist plop
of his dentures being ejected from his mouth. Cuffed and
drooling, he is led out of the chamber...

that's also bad. Which is it guys? Are foreigners good or

I don't see what's so hard to understand. When the human
beings you call "foreigners" do good things, such as
increasing diversity or GDP, that's good (duh). But when
malign foreign actors do bad things, like failing to
increase diversity or GDP, that's bad. Thankfully we already
have a system to determine whether someone is good or bad:
free speech. Free speech allows folks to say whatever they
want and, based on what they say, gives us a means to figure
out whether they're decent human beings or bad actors.

in the bible God instructed the Israelites to treat the
foreigners (or strangers) well because the Israelites were
foreigners in the land of egypt. it's part of the Torah and
Jewish law that all Jews must follow.

if you believe there will be a king of Israel one day who
will raise the dead as described by the Jewish prophets and
Maimonides, at that point in history(maybe 200 years from
now) foreigners will all get along with each other, there
won't need to be nations or borders any more, proving Jewish
law to be correct and just.
