i knew i'd need something to cheer myself up from trump's
july 4th, and so i'm watching all the new black mirror now.
it is so incredibly good. beautiful shots of trees in the
wind. reworked nine inch nails. seriously shitting myself
with delight over all of this

it is a fragment of poetry i have posted on xltronic past. i
managed to unearth the original: LAZY_TITLE

it was written amidst a tumultuous time in which i literally
heard two mice going thunderdrome on each other in the wall;
i'm pounding on the wall and yelling ~ shut up you bastards,
i'm trying to do a track

i thought the miley cyrus episode was a little lame, but
those nine inch nails reworks are the funniest shit

tho i admit it is rather cute how it is basically a slightly
edgy disney channel movie

I loved the first few series (UK) and Christmas specials.
Not seen it since Brooker went to the states.

Heard nothing but good feedback on that one. Must have been
a lot of work to put together.

it is a sort of brilliance that seems almost tacky, until
you squint at it. [spoiler alert] the episode starts with a
version of head like a hole that is squeaky-clean, full of
autotune, sounds like taylor swift. they gradually crossfade
into the version at the end, without autotune. if you listen
to them side-by-side, the difference in production is quite
striking... but, if you just watch the episode, you wouldn't
notice it.

the idea of big music controlling, manipulating a big-name
artist through psychological tactics, drugs is not a new
plot by any means, but drugging an artist into a permanent
coma, reading the music from their brainwaves, and then
tidying it up to be more radio-friendly -- yeah, that's a
new level

i still haven't seen bandersnatch. apparently, i can torrent
it. how does the interactive part work? will vlc handle it?
maybe i'll try that tonight

season 5 is pretty good

always when i think something's dumb, i'm pointed out i
missed half the stuff. like in Play Test, it's actually
about the guy being afraid of going senile

that's what i mean. it's now hard for me to believe that
dude is real, because of bandersnatch. it's cool when
fiction messes with the actual real

its was bizarre for me to see him on black mirror as he is a
bit of a cult hero,
