been listening to that recent Grischa Lichtenberger a lot
lately, Robert Lippok - Applied Autonomy, the Sichten 1
comp, anything by Kyoka, older Kangding Ray, Bretschneider's
releases, NHK, and I see there's lots I haven't heard. I
didn't set out to collect Raster stuff, I'm just noticing
lots of stuff I've liked is on there. Bretschneider is the
GOAT. Loved his album Lunik on Shitkatapult.

I don't listen to music anymore but I've been watching these
Leap In The Dark, British television anthology series with a
supernatural theme, from 1973 - 80 (soundtrack by DJ Satie)

I hoped you might like, I let it just click on and started
watching episodes of "The Mind Beyond" (Stones was
very good ) , and, oh golly, and adaptation of Best Strange
Writer Ever (imo) Robert Aickman's The Hospice (Night
Voices... I've never heard of any of these series), ... then
fell asleep on the sofa and had wacky dreams where "I"
invented my own episodes....

Oh well, I guess I've found my "lockdown telly" now...

Marvelous, I had no idea most of this stuff existed. BTW, is
that THE Colin Wilson presenting Leap in the Dark, The
Occult Colin Wilson? Space Vampires guy? It's times like
this I appreciate the Youtube algorithm, when it isn't force
feeding me Chef Ramsay Goes Off On Turd Chef and Mein Kampf
Unboxing.

No I know, I get quite good music recommendations as well
from The Algorithm. But the only ad I ever get is for
Godaddy, presumably based on my already being a customer...

That is indeed The Colin Wilson. How quaint it all is...
but yes, I'd never heard of these series The Mind Beyond,
Night Voices ... I found a website Vault of Evil that I
hope will reveal more of these ... sorts of things.

jesus christ, not godaddy the registrar/webhost?

friend of mine asked me to have a look at what's up with his
web site, and i find some scattered ratpoop php backdoor
crap. he was being hosted on godaddy, and he was just some
/home/ directory on some fucking unix box that had been
hacked to shit, and so they run some automated thing that
wraps every php script in their malware crap and i was like
"you should clean this up right now but it could be back
tomorrow"

perhaps they're better as a domain registrar, but i'm not
holding my breath

I've yet to have anything wrapped in ratpoop php but I'll
keep an eye out.

I can't get enough of Los Hermanos - The very existence, the Mac

Well that was joyful. I don't think I've ever seen a clip
from Mac and Me aside from the one Paul Rudd shows when
promoting his movies.

It is joyful yes, I think the whole Mac and Me debacle has
been redeemed by that re-purposing.
