that's a trip. i know all three of those crusty old radio shack products, and owned two of them.
on the right is a little portable battery ampspeaker. i fried mine, but i still have it somewhere.
in the middle is a $3 "phone pickup." in high school, a friend and i would enjoy making prank calls on payphones. you put the suction cup on the back of the phone receiver, near the earpiece, then you could record the payphone prank calls. i used a minidisc, my buddy used a microcassette.
on the far left is a discman that i don't think i ever owned, but friends definitely did.
bootnote: here is one of the best prank calls ever recorded to minidisc from a public payphone, yessir.
