I don't think id go to these places not because I'm scared,
I think its really cool to look around, but you get the
feeling these places are full of asbestos and poisonous
chemicals

so the robots could not do the work, men had too, and die
early deaths?

offline Hyperflake from Wirral (United Kingdom) on 2018-01-22 16:22 [#02542786]
Points: 31006 Status: Lurker

yes the radiation was that powerful it destroyed the
electronic components of the robots, so they had to get men
working in like 30 second bursts to clear the rubble. I
think they got very high doses that wouldn't kill them at
the time but caused them to have a very high chance of
cancer later in life

the elephants foot

offline Hyperflake from Wirral (United Kingdom) on 2018-01-22 16:26 [#02542791]

""The Elephants's Foot" is an extremely radioactive mass of
material formed by the Chernobyl disaster in 1986. It is
named for its wrinkly appearance, resembling the foot of an
elephant. Observations determined that it was made up of
nuclear fuel, melted concrete, sand, and core shielding that
melted and flowed together. Currently, spending an hour in
the same room as the elephant's foot will lead to death.
Multiple photos of the elephant's foot have been taken, with
one even including a worker standing next to it. Over time,
it decomposed, but it will remain radioactive for over
100,000 years"

talking about biblical things I was reading the Wikipedia
article on Adam last night I didn't know this. they don't
teach you this at sunday school:

"Adam withdrew from Eve for 130 years after their expulsion
from Eden, and in this time both he and Eve had sex with
demons, until at length they reunited and Eve gave birth to
Seth.["

Fukushima is a prefecture located in the Tohouku area of
Japan. It's about 160 km from Tokyo. Fukushima in Japanese
is “ 福島” and it means. 福(Fuku) = fortune, luck.
島) = island.

ironic really

the bible, the dead sea scrolls and the gnostic and all that
it all becomes very esoteric and weird

I didn't even know she knew what a spliff was
