ive heard of these ojnly just stumbled on a video. its like next level google search when too lazy to type and read this device thing, you ask it questions ( like that jeopardy computer Watson) but this does not require a lorry size computer system to function. Alexa fir the home, a little box likely tied to a football field of pc's out in silicon valley. it listens to you all day and night and even builds your shopping carts up and orders stuff to your door at times without permission and lots more. it claims to have a mute button. but anyone who uses audio mixing desks knows that mute button may be post all types of interesting inserts. people think that it only listens and records after you say Alexa and the blue light comes on. did you know all the conversations the average person ever has in an 80 year life span can be stored with compression in under 1mb. less than 1 old floppy or .0001 inch square of non-volatile memory i just made that up but im guessing its pretty small. |

best compression algorithm i could find (cursory google) could compress that down to 1/30th of its size which is 9.5 megs so round it up to 10 megs and you weren't far off |
