Thinking about its, since the empire was defeated pretty much totally in return of the jedi, there isn't really much more they could have done, The space Nazis are finished, the only decent story would be tracking down remnants of the imperial fleet that would vie for power like different factions, you could have had several bad guys, Fleets of star destroyers against star destroyers, they could have even repainted some of them to differentiate. Perhaps there would have been a power struggle in the rebellion as well. |
