The smallest distance between two pitches in traditional Western music is a half-tone step. Persian music has slightly smaller distances - there are quarter-tone steps. But of course you could decrease the distance between notes more and more and come up with micro-tone steps... So .., do you enjoy it? |

i used to make "experimental" guff with my old guitar by gradually detaining it more and more over the course of a piece, which i guess was rudimentary microtonal music. i used to use pieces of glass and butter knives to bow the strings. fun but then I was usually high as shit |
