I think ive disturbed my emotional equilibrium for today, do
you ever have a day when you feel all at sea and you know
you will never feel that great, like there is a nagging
thing the back of your skull, or a weight around you heart

possible reasons for the injury:

- heavy weight at work
- cold water for shower
- air conditioning on the neck at my friends house

-teflon?
-teflon unscathed?
-beefy metal diameter for specific heat delight?
-dual handle for oil spin?
-fancy lid?

Bless your hearts

I'm sorry if I have depressed you guys by mentioning the C
word

Thankfully I still have both my parents, they're getting on
though, feels like I spent I spent a large chunk of my
childhood in hospitals with grandparents cancers. They're
all gone now.

Never met my dads mum (German) though, she too died of
cancer when he was in his 20s.

My mum is my hero, she experienced a lot of grief and still
remained positive for us.

Grief is immeasurable, incomparable.

I know what you mean TT, nobody seems to care about the
friends, just the parents, which in my friend's case are the
biggest fucking assholes, I will not go into details why.

I'm still good friends with his "widow", though they were
never married, she went through the worst of it with him,
took care of him, we get on really well, she gets it. I
think we offer each other a sort of mutual comfort.

He died from colon cancer, suffered a lot, went through
chemo etc. It was a long battle, there was even (albeit
false) hope for a while. But then it came back, very
strongly.

Meh, I'm crying now, never was there a sweeter man.

Ps I wrote this post yesterday but I'm in the Carpathian
Mountains (keep thinking of Vigo: the scourge of Carpathia,
and Dracula ofc), so only tiny bursts of 3G here and there.

yes sorry I saw your response Portnoy, took me a while to
find it again! the forum is quite busy at the moment which
is great. Sorry about your friends, its true what they say
physical wounds generally heal but mental ones do not, its
hard not to make everything sound like an aphorism when
discussing such grave subjects as its been pondered by
greater minds than my own throughout history.

yes could also apply if you use internet at work, but wasnt
talking about that, i was talking simply about having a
lower limit as a general principle in life, especially when
interacting with people for whom you dont know where the
limit is. you cover yourself of ridicolous.

do I? yes I see what you mean, we must have differing
definitions of personal, yes I don't want to make people
uncomfortable by telling them unnecessary details about me,
I suppose I was just trying to present myself accurately, my
gf has to tell me similar stuff all the time, I am a bit
shit at detecting how other people are responding to me

driver or whatever but then don't share anything with people
closer to me

yes I noticed this about me about a decade ago when some guy
struck up a casual conversation in a railway station, and
when I started to ask him questions he just clamed up, it
was like he was offended, I was just trying to be nice I
wasn't particularly interested in what he was saying either,
