welllll, just descriptions would be great, esp. any unusual aspects that people miss when they try making simple/naive reproductions of them in msp or pd or whatever. (i ask because, eg: i used to read ppl said that the 808 hat circuits were 'filtered noise' which is not true, they are pulse waves summed with an xor thingy [like an ms20 ringmod], & that makes ALL the difference. I just wondered if there's anything like that in there... Oh and THAT cowbell is pulse oscs too isn't it? :) ) |

i mean, there are filters on them, and the input is pretty noisy so i suppose it is strictly true, but you won't get an 808 style hat with whitenoise |
