The more mainstream electronic artists always seemed cheesy and kind of... ick... to me. Prodigy, Moby, Fatboy Slim, Underworld, Chemical Brothers... they made me dislike electronic music for the longest time... that can't be a compliment. |

You guys are maaaaaddd!!!! Brothomstates are greeeaaat! I dont know how many times I've listened to Claro... I mean come on, the beats are so crisp and smooth, and the melodies are just great.... I don't think they're trying to copy ae either. Venetian Snares. Love him =) I have the album Doll doll doll and it's great. I've heard lots of artist who makes this types of noizy hardcore/dnb-stuff, but he beats them all... he's got talent. |

I'll have to defend Prodigy. One of my all time favourite bands. Without having heard them I wouldn't have seeked other stuff such as Aphex Twin and co. Admittedly the last album wasn't their best but it wasn't their worst either, and the wait for the new one is ridiculous. Just my opinion. Whoever started this topic has made a good one. Interesting the arguments put forward, I've noticed the phrse sell-out hasn't been used once either! |
