the rubicon was premiere. i fucking hated it, but i knew what lay in wait for me with ffmpeg, you know? so i put up with it. until it smashed up a project i'd been working on and i could no longer open it. nothing i tried worked. twenty or thirty hours locked off or outright destroyed through some dark magic in adobe's indian rat nest of security holes and memory leaks pretty much, ffmpeg actually might be easier in the long run. once you learn it, it'll solve a thousand little problems for you. it's not like you have to throw out premiere to install it. you don't need linux. you don't even need to understand it. find a couple and sheet lesse breecks |
