I have always found you foul, Mrs. Scratchit, and more than
a little. As for Tiny Tom's Christmas, he can stuff it up
his enormous muscular backside.

cant come soon enough, also I need to check this but I
remember something about the first 5 series coming out on
blu ray, I don't hold up much for picture quality as they
were recorded to tape back then, but the dvds have old
codecs and I remember series 4 episode DNA having some
picture/audio issues that are really apparent if you watch
with headphones in so and upgrade would be great

"I have in my possession a very rare and extraordinarily

your position."

Yes the original tape should be at least recaptured using
the latest tech and although 720 x 576 blue ray can encode
them better .wav too.

just depends on how the tape has deteriorated?

i dont know. but its worth a try.

maybe more extras : ) more commentary tracks.

yes, I'm confident the tapes should still be in pretty good
nick, hopefully stored properly, yes id love a blu ray
release with even more extras, would be the definitive
version for the future

yes I get the impression that they are a bootleg copy,
several generations removed from the original master tape,
probably something the producer stuck on for a laugh at
dinner parties

haha you rik rolled me !! LOl ;p

LOL well that is a very bad exaggeration or degradation. for
comedy purposed right?

the first one had bias issues. i think he dubed with head
issues each time.
im suprised he wasnt hitting the machine with a hammer as he
re recorded each time and threw the machine at a wall and
said "look ...look how bad it is at recording" as he set
fire to the tape and ate it with tomato kechup just be for
he uploaded to youtube.

i used to dub with vhs tapes , it was never that bad.

if you get a good vhs and a good copy of red dwarf sealed
... you'll be suprised at how good it was.

i had red dwarf vhs and a 6 head vhs machine for christmas (
aka 'happy holidays' for those who support the death of
Christianity ) at it was sooo good!!! no wobble minimal
noise... on a nice sony 4:3 ....heaven.

I'm watching another generation loss video, its interesting
how the audio signal turns immediately to shit after one
generation

my brother had several different vhs recorders, and he had a
mid 90s mature technology one and it was very good
considering

listen at 6 seconds in the audio stereo> mono stereo....

its grainy, noisy, it looks absolutely shit, the colours are
far to high, not only that you can see digtal encoding
artefacts by the guys capture card honestly this is a retard
uploading.

i would expect my mother to upload better with her 15 year
old machine. that probably cost 65 quid new.

really, i am not exaggerating.

yes perhaps, perhaps he was using a really old decrepit
machine to create the first generation copy, also his
capture card might not be very good

a digital version ! : )

only prob with tape is it does ware out. and can degrade
quick particular if the tape is poor.

There is a guy comparing blade runner vhs to blu ray.....hes
obviously used a copy he has played at least once a month
for 10 years....in a machine he has never cleaned the head
for maybe 25 years, its completey *uck*d....and he uses that
as a reference.....what the hek is wrong with people.!?!!

why am i upset?

do I love vhs? kinda yeh.

I prefer film and mp4 files sure .. but truth is important
to give people an honest perspective.
