I'm from Europe and I'm not gonna sing "please don't go" but if you all do it feels like you could have left us behind with the Nazi's in 1945.. it feels like a backstab just for your own benefits. Even more reason we leave, as likely the EU will crumble as a result. France and Germany will surely hold referendums of their own soon after if we do. Even with threat of a downturn in the economy, this sums up why we need to leave... ...and 72% of near half a million voters agree. |

I think if the EU just stuck to being a trade/travel and common policy association no one would have much of a problem. You can definitely tell its moving much more towards a federal super state which makes me feel quite uncomfortable especially when you have countries with relatively disparate outlooks on how things should be. Loosing more sovereignty to bureaucrats in a land far away seems like a bad idea to me. Leaving the EU in the short term might be a bad idea economically, i think in the long term it might be fore the best |
