El and seq could refer to 1 and 2, meaning it's to be
regarded as their 12th album, and not a side thing. Also
it's warp 512, which could be a nod the the fact it's five
12 inches.

Oh, and it's seriously very good!!

Just finished listening to it all (over the course of a
couple of days). Some nice stuff! Debating whether I should
stick to 1 EP per couple of weeks now, to let it all sink in
properly...

From the Netherlands?..4000 points and I've not seen you
posting before? Wtf happend?

I've not heard the new autechre btw..I skipped through them
and it reminded me to much of all the live mixes they
released.

The first two tracks from the first EP are extended cuts
from the live albums, yes. But the rest aren't, as far as I
can tell. The last two EPs are especially nice.

Well I used to post more back when this site was called
aphextwin.nu and later when we still had Autechre broadcasts
on here, haha. Nowadays I'm much more of a lurker.

to be honest, i've been waiting for years for stuff like
this because although it's stil cerebral as their other
albums, it has a live feel to it

You can burn it on 5 CDs, right ;)

Would love to have seen a physical release too, though. I
guess they're not into it anymore? Should we worry? Or maybe
they don't consider this as their new album

Folks over at WATMM seem obsessed as to wether this is an
album or not. I find that amusing. If it's not an album does
it mean less work was put into it? Etc...

I'm taking it as a five part album. The press are also
calling it an album.

Basically it's a release, that's what matters, but I find it
interesting why it's such a big deal wether it's an
"official album" or not.

There seems to be quite a few references to the number 12,
though possibly accidental.

Maybe these longer cuts are what they wanted to do all
along, but couldn't because of the limiting format.

For some reason it's not available or marketed on bleep.com,
that's a bit strange

Their store is related to Bleep though. It's seems the boys
are cutting corners, and I'm happy for them.

lasted much longer than those 8 minutes
